HYUNDAI STEEL is consolidating its coexistence-focused management on a company-wide level by expanding in 2010 the organization in charge of coexistence-focused cooperation newly established in 2006 into Coexistence-Focused Cooperation Committee composed of executives from different sectors including sales, purchase and production, convinced that consolidating the coexistence-focused cooperation between large and medium enterprises would be the way to further increase competitiveness. Participating in the Hyundai Motors Group's ceremony for proclaiming partnered growth agreement in May 2011, HYUNDAI STEEL has set up a long-term cooperative relationship for its active promotion and renamed Coexistence-Focused Cooperation Committee as 'Partnered Growth Committee' to widen the range of support. A working-level council is currently in place under the 'Partnered Growth Committee' to conduct the actual activities while CSR Promotion Team is performing partnered growth program development and support as the organization dedicated to partnered growth. The company is supporting various partnered growth programs for the partner companies to ensure that the companies upgrade their competitiveness. Since it signed a partnered growth agreement with Korea Fair Trade Commission in 2011, the company has received evaluation on the specifics of its partnered growth support for the partner companies each year. HYUNDAI STEEL will continue its efforts to develop plans to strengthen competitiveness by diligently performing the partnered growth agreement, expanding partner company support programs and coexisting with partner companies in making the best effort to become an exemplary company in partnered growth.

HYUNDAI STEEL has received evaluation on the specifics of its partnered growth support for its partner companies on the partnered growth agreement each year, since it joined the Korea Fair Trade Commission's program in 2011. HYUNDAI STEEL is diligently fulfilling the partnered growth agreement, expanding partner company support programs and developing plans to strengthen competitiveness through coexistence with the partner companies.

Practicing Transparency with Ethical Management

HYUNDAI STEEL operates a cyber inspection room for transparent transactions while posting its code of ethics and the code of conduct for employee ethics on the homepage. It has also disclosed purchase-related ethical management policy, operating suggestion box for practicing ethics and transparency and implementing electronic bidding.
