Also in 2004, we have acquired Hanbo Steel which we have been working on for 7 years and were bestowed with the important responsibility of taking on the role for finishing up the restructuring of the iron industry. Using this as a cornerstone, a national crossroad, uniting Incheon, Pohang and Dangjin was established. Meanwhile, we have secured an attractive geological bridgehead when the FTA between Korea , China and Japan is successfully contracted. MOREOVER, HYUNDAI STEEL WILL CONTRIBUTE TO CONSOLIDATING THE NATIONAL COMPETENCY THROUGH CONSTRUCTING an integrated steel mill AT DANGJIN BY 2011.
